Paintings and Drawings of Judith Jewer
Judith A. Jewer is a visual artist. She is fascinated with the process of seeing, and takes great pleasure in the visual world - especially the natural world. Judith uses drawing and painting as a means of seeing more clearly what she is looking at. Largely working "Plein air" which simply means "out-of-doors" in French -- Judith paints using acrylics and has been exploring landscape motifs of Ajax and Pickering locations. Many of Judith's artworks are completed out of doors on location and finished in one sitting. A painting finished in one sitting is a process artists call "alla prima." Judith also creates works of art in the studio. Judith teaches how to paint with acrylics and how to draw both privately and for the Town of Ajax. |
